| Description: | The cholinesterase assays were performed using colorimetric method reported by Ellman. Enzyme activity was determined by measuring the absorbance at 412 nm for 2 min. Each inhibitor was evaluated at several concentrations in the range from 1 nM to 20 uM. Percentage inhibition was calculated relative to a control sample, and IC50 values displayed represent the mean +/- standard deviation for triplicate assays. |
