| Description: | Titrations using fluorescence spectroscopy were carried out on a Jobin Yvon Horiba FluoroMax-3 fluorimeter in scanning mode. Apo-HemQ (5 μM) was diluted in 0.1 M potassium phosphate buffer, pH 6.8, and titrated with stocks of heme (1 mM in0.1 M NaOH) and protoporphyrin IX (1 mM in DMSO) each diluted to 500 μM at 25 °C. |
