| Description: | The compound samples were assayed for inhibitory activity against MMP-2 in 96-well microplates using succinylated gelatin as the substrate. The compounds and gelatinase were dissolved in sodium borate buffer (pH 8.5, 50 mM), and incubated at 37°C for 30 min. The substrate was added and incubated at 37°C for another 60 min. Then 0.03% picrylsulphonic acid solution was added and incubated at room temperature for an additional 20 min. |
