| Description: | Progress curves for slow-binding inhibition analysis were obtained by adding nitrocefin (final concentration 36 μM) to a solution containing enzyme (0.13 μg/mL) and varying concentrations of the inhibitor thiomaltol in buffer (50 mm MOPS at pH 7.0; final volume 1 mL) in acrylic cuvettes. Hydrolysis of the substrate was monitored for up to 3 min. |
