Description: | AKT1 was assayed using constitutively active Myr-AKT1 in low-binding 96-well plates. The kinase reactions were initiated by the addition of assay mix containing kinase assay buffer, ATP, and a biotinylated substrate peptide. After incubation, Phosphorylated biotin-GSK3alpha was detected by the time-resolved fluorescence resonance energy transfer Lance format with all reagents obtained from Perkin-Elmer. Subsequently, the plates were read in a Victor plate reader (Wallac/Perkin-Elmer). |
