| Description: | In vitro liposygenase inhibition assay activity was measured by modifying the spectrophotometric method developed by Tappel. The compound was prepared in methanol at various concentrations (50, 25, 12.5, 6.25 and 3.215 uM). The inhibition by lipoxygenase activity by 50% (IC50) was determined by monitoring the effect of increasing concentrations of these compounds in the assays on the degree of inhibition. |
