| Description: | The COX activity was assayed colorimetrically by monitoring the appearance of oxidized N,N,N',N'-tetramethyl-pphenylenediamine (TMPD) at 590 nm. It is based on the oxidation of TMPD during the reduction of Prostaglandin G2 (PGG2) to Prostaglandin H2 (PGH2). The assay was performed in duplicate according to the manufacturer's guidelines. |
