| Description: | The cholinesterase assays were performed using colorimetric method reported by Ellman. The appearance of product was monitored at 412 nm for 5 min using a spectrophotometer. The reaction rates were compared and the percent inhibition due to the presence of test compounds was calculated. Inhibition curve was obtained for each compound. The linear regression parameters were determined and the IC50 values extrapolated. |
