The program Surflex was used to generate computationally docked conformations of congeneric series of Ligands with their Targets. Docking was performed only when at least one crystal structure is available for a Ligand in the series, and this crystal structure was used as a model for the compounds in the series for which no crystal structure was available. Congeneric series were identified automatically based on Tanimoto similarity of ChemAxon chemical fingerprints. Drs. Russell Spitzer and Ajay Jain generously assisted BindingDB's automation of this procedure.
