| | ENPP1 Enzymatic Inhibition in Biochemical Assay |
| Description: | ENPP1 was a transmembrane glycoprotein capable of hydrolyzing nucleotides and derivatives with a nucleotide-5′-monophosphate structure. ENPP1 was capable of hydrolyzing artificial thymidine 5′-monophosphate p-nitrophenyl ester (TMP-pNP) into nucleotide 5′-monophosphate and p-nitrophenol which was a chromogenic product. The formation amount of p-nitrophenol product could be directly measured by its absorbance at 405 nm, which was directly proportional to the enzyme activity. |
