| Description: | The in vitro activity of compounds inhibiting FTase or GGTase-I was determined by using scintillation proximity assay (SPA) technology. The assays were performed with recombinant human FTase or purified bovine brain GGTase-I, [3H]-FPP and a biotin conjugated decapeptide substrate. The counts associated with the beads were determined using a Packard TopCount scintillation plate reader. |
