| Description: | Activity of human recombinant B-Raf protein was assessed in vitro by assay of the incorporation of radiolabeled phosphate to recombinant MAP kinase (MEK). To ensure that all substrate phosphorylation resulted from B-Raf activity, a catalytically inactive form of MEK was utilized. The assay was initiated by the addition of ATP. Following the incubation, the assay mixtures were quenched, and the product was captured on a Perkin-Elmer GF/B filter plate using a Tomtec Mach III Harvester.
