| Description: | Purified recombinant integrase was first combined in a complex with biotinylated donor DNA- streptavidin-coated SPA beads. The complex was preincubated with the test compound, and strand transfer was initiated with a radiolabeled target DNA substrate. After incubation, the incorporated radioactivity was read in a Wallac MicroBeta scintillation plate reader using a counting protocol that corrected for optical cross talk between wells. |
