| Description: | Total volume of 100 無 reaction mixture contained 70 無 50 mM phosphate buffer pH 6.8, 10 無 test compound (0.5 mM in methanol) followed by the addition of 10 無 enzyme solution (0.057 units) in the buffer. The contents were mixed, pre-incubated for 10 min at 37 蚓 and pre-read at 400 nm. The reaction was initiated by the addition of 10 無 of 0.5 mM substrate (p-nitrophenyl glucopyranoside). After 30 min of incubation at 37 蚓, absorbance of p-nitrophenol released was measured. Acarbose was used as positive control. |
