| Description: | Quantities of 0.2 mL of examined preparation (as control, 0.15 M NaCl), buffer, and 0.1 mL of enzyme solution were mixed together. The mixture was incubated at 37°C for 3 min then the synthetic substrate solution in the same buffer was added. After 20 min of incubation, the reaction was stopped by adding 0.1 mL of 50% acetic acid, and the absorbance of the released p-nitroaniline was measured at 405 nm. |
